This branch contains the option to compute the midpoint coverage score as well. If the option is selected in the config file, the score is computed in the extractFromBAM_RegionBed_WPS_Cov.py and the plots are generated in the overlays.py. Additionally the branch contains the possibility to select window length and polyorder for the Savitzky-Golay filter in the config file and computation for the edge normalization, which normalizes scores by dividing by the mean of the outermost 100 base pairs on both sides.
